The State of the Union, 2019

I understand that there are those who disagree with me. Fine, it’s a free country and I wish to keep it that way. If you disagree, let me know, I don’t mind. But disagree using logic and facts, not name calling and innuendo. For example, don’t just tell me that President Trump is a liar, give me a few examples of substantiated lies. Note here that I am not speaking about something on the order of, “When he was eight, he lied to his mother that he had ‘accidently’ spilled milk all over his sister’s head.”

Back to the State of the Union.

I liked it. Hell, I thought it was great. I realize that there are people out there who hate President Trump so much that anything he says is terrible, and they never give rational reasons. I am fully aware of that. I don’t quite understand it but I am aware of it.

Why did I like it? An easy one . Everything he said was very pro-American and that he was tired of political bickering. Let’s face it, Pelosi, Schumer, and that whole bunch are on record about defending the Southern border. That is, until President Trump came up with a rational plan.

The only two points on which President Trump was adamant about was border security and that we are not a socialist nation. If you think on it, it seems that socialism is unconstitutional. Why, you ask? Well, I don’t make any claims to possessing a great legal mind, but I haven’t read anywhere in the Constitution a part which says that the government can abscond with private property.

Well, that’s what I think.
