A Christmas Card

What I am showing you could well be of no interest to you. It is only a Christmas card. What makes it special, at least to me, is the fact that it was written by my father to his parents in 1918, while he was a “Doughboy” in France, shortly after the Armistice.

Daddy is 2nd from right

I find it interesting that the top of the card reads:
On Active Service, A.E.F.
Somewhere in France

Christmas Card

And, in case you didn’t know, A.E.F. means “American Expeditionary Force.”

Christmas Card

I can add no more.
