8:00 a.m. this morning…
How many times have you heard that? Okay, maybe not always 8:00, but I think you get the idea.
What I get the biggest kick from is when newscasters (for lack of a better word) say, “Be sure to tune in at 8:00 AM tomorrow morning to get the latest news.”
When I hear stuff like that, the only thing which crosses my mind is that they want to make sure that the viewers don’t tune in at 8:00 AM tomorrow evening.
Think about it. These people make their livings with words. Are they really idiots or do they believe that their viewers are idiots?
Well, as the saying goes, “On man’s meat is another man’s redundancy,”
If anything I say makes sense, knock twice.
