The Ease of Amazon Kindle
In case you don’t know this, you don’t have to buy an actual Kindle device to enjoy Kindle books. You can read Kindle books on your tablet, laptop, desktop, phone. Any device. It doesn’t cost a thing to download their app. And it gives you access to many free and low-priced books, as well as bestsellers.
Don’t get me wrong. I like books. Real books. I like the feel of an actual hard-copy book.
And there are some bargains in paperbacks, but nothing compared to the bargains on Kindle. Those Kindle books didn’t seem like such bargains when I thought I had to buy the $100 Kindle device to read them.
I didn’t think it was worth it to spend $100 on a device to read a $2 digital book.
That’s because, until recently, I didn’t know that you don’t need a Kindle device to read a Kindle eBook.
You can read Amazon Kindle ebooks on your desktop, laptop, tablet, or phone. And you can get Kindle for your computer, tablet or phone, for free.

Go to Amazon.com
You can search for the book you want in the Kindle store by category.
You can search for your favorite author.
When you find your book, you’ll have the option to buy the hard copy or Kindle Version.
There’s a link to download the free app.
You’ll get a popup that will allow you to download to your computer or other device, or scan the code or go straight to a browser page.
Remember, the app is free.
And there you have it. You will then have an instant library, with millions of books to choose from and enjoy.
Kindle Unlimited
I’ll just say a little about Kindle Unlimited. It’s very simple.
You pay $9.99 per month. That allows you to read all Kindle Unlimited titles for no additional cost.
There’s a free trial, so you can give it a whirl before you pay anything. And you can cancel at any time.
