H.D. Ingles is a North Carolina writer, with a penchant for humorous family sketches and historic fiction novels.
Born in 1939, in West Virginia, with six older sisters, he does indeed have a lot of funny stories to tell.

He has several short story collections. Some are autobiographical, like “The Forties & The Fifties” about the experience of growing up in a large family during America’s Golden Age.
And “Wrath of Grapes” stories from the Cold War era, when H.D. served in the U.S. Air Force.
Mr. Ingles also writes about U.S. History.
